A new report from think tank IPPR North – Connecting Lines – has said that the incoming mayors for newly devolved city-regions need to consider innovative new approaches to local taxation and the integration of transport services.
With the opening of Lines 2 and 3 in 2015, Nottingham’s tram network doubled in size with 28 new stations and over 17km of new track. The network expects to transport around 23 million passengers each year and Jo Bentley is responsible for ensuring they receive excellent customer service.

Keolis Welcomes Direct Award For The Transpennine Express Franchise
Keolis has welcomed a Direct Award by the Department for Transport (DfT) following its successful operation of the TransPennine Express (TPE) rail franchise.

A joint venture partnership of public transport operator Keolis and infrastructure asset management specialist Amey has been shortlisted to tender for the operation and maintenance of Greater Manchester’s Metrolink tram network when the current franchise expires in July 2017.
