Keolis is a leading global passenger transport business.
We operate some of the UK’s busiest rail franchises as part of joint venture agreements, in addition to the iconic Docklands Light Railway and the award-winning urban light rail network in Nottingham.
These include some of the best-known brands in UK transport as well as the nation’s only high speed rail network, HS1, in Kent.
We’ve been in the UK since the beginning of rail privatisation in 1996. Today we employ 13,000 people across our franchises, helping to deliver one in two light rail journeys.
During this time we have introduced more new trains to our franchises than any other operator.
Globally, Keolis operates in 16 different countries.
Keolis is 70% owned by SNCF – France’s state-owned railway operator – and 30% owned by Canadian pension fund, Caisse de depot et de placement du Québec.
