Where better to launch our inaugural Tramway Club than Manchester, a city where innovation meets connectivity on the tracks?

This week, industry leaders gathered for the exchange ideas and insights, driving inspiration and progress in public transport. Experts from KeolisAmey Metrolink, Keolis Group, Amey, and networks representing Nottingham, Bordeaux, Besançon, and Orléans joined with Transport for Greater Manchester and the UK Tram association.

The event showcased the power of collaboration. From operational innovations to sharing best practices, the discussions emphasised how working together can revolutionise public transport, not just regionally, but globally.

Manchester’s Metrolink network, the UK’s largest tramway system, served as an ideal backdrop. With 99 stops, nearly 100 km of track, and 44 million journeys annually, it stands as a testament to what expertise, dedication, and teamwork can achieve.

As the first Tramway Club comes to an end, we look forward to building stronger partnerships, embracing fresh ideas, and continuing our shared mission: shaping better journeys and a more connected world, one track at a time.
